We are thrilled to be a part of your special day! Here's how together we can create memories to last forever.
We'll first have a video consultation to go over what colors interest you. We can use inspiration from your event, your home, or just your personal favorites. The options are almost limitless. *
I will fashion you a glass utilizing the colors we discussed. The glasses are usually short in nature, but we can discuss other options. A miniature wine glass is also a popular upgrade. The glass will get shipped to you in a white velvet pouch.
When the time is right, smash your glass in celebration inside the pouch! The pouch is a perfect vessel to catch your shards. Feel free to explore your shards, but please be careful as they are quite sharp. Once your ready, simply place the pouch back in the prepaid box, and ship them back to me.
Once I receive your shards, I will carefully re-melt each piece, blending them into a single, unified form. From this, I will craft a beautiful mezuzah to grace your new home.
Once your mezuzah has had a chance to slowly cool down in the kiln, I will box your piece up, and send it on its journey to its forever home.
Please reach us at bmoneyglass@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Each piece is completely bespoke to your needs. While I offer a wide array of colors, I may not have every shade on hand. To ensure I have ample time to source your specific colors, please place your order at least three weeks before your event. Rush delivery may be available, but contact me for more details.
Once I receive your shards, it takes just a week or two to create your incredible work of art.
While it is most common for the mezuzah to be on the outside of the door post, angled into the home. I recommend your unique piece of art be mounting indoors, just to protect against the elements.
- Your mezuzah comes with a non-Kosher scroll. You can upgrade to a Kosher scroll for an extra cost.
- Most colors are included with your package. There are a few premium colors such as crushed opal tubing that are available for an extra cost. We can chat about what some of the options are during your color consultation.
- Opal options. Each piece comes with a top cover for your mezuzah which has a opal encased on top. There are a variety of different sizes and shapes that we can use to further customize your piece including a Star of David. Prices do vary. These Gilson Opals are the only stones that can be used in this process. No other stones or natural opal. Contact me for more details.
All shipping within the United States is included with your purchase. Rush & International shipping is available for an extra cost.
- The standard mezuzah is roughly 5 inches tall, with a double eyelet for mounting on a tilt.
- The Tree of Life mezuzahs are closer to 7 inches tall, and about 5 inches across at its widest point. They have a single eyelet for vertical mounting.
Yes, it must be shards from the glass I provide in order for the process to work. There are many different types of glass in the world, and they are not compatible with each other. If you have shards from a previous event that you'd like something done with, contact me. There are a limited number of things you can do.
Yes. In order to ensure proper breakage, I score or scratch the outside with a special tool. This way we get a great array of shards for the build, and avoid potential injury of the groom.
